AT TECH (In 2011): Prewitt spent his first season with the Golden Eagles as a redshirt working out with the scout team... has made two appearances on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
BEFORE TECH: Patrick was a two-way starter at Vestavia Hills High School, posting impressive credentials as both a defensive back and receiver. Named to the 2008 All-Metro South team, he earned a spot on the 2009 All-Over the Mountain Team and was chosen the Pat Patrick Best in High School Football Defensive Player of the Year. As a sophomore he had six touchdown receptions and intercepted four passes. As a junior, he had five TD catches for the offense, and on defense made 46 tackles, three interceptions and defended five passes. In his career, he had 12 scoring catches and rushed for two touchdowns, and also picked off two passes.
PERSONAL: The son of Malcolm and Amy Prewitt...birthdate is May 11, 1992...full name is Patrick Stephen Prewitt...majoring in pre-physical therapy.
